At Her New Horizon, we believe every young mother deserves the opportunity to rewrite her story, break free from limitations, and rise above the challenges that life has thrown her way. This program is designed for teen moms aged 16-19 who are ready to embrace their full potential. Through international travel experiences, mentorship, and personal development, we empower these young women to step into their power, expand their horizons, and see the world beyond the circumstances they may have faced.
Eligibility

Age Requirement: Must be between 16-19 years old at the time of application.

Parental Status: Must be a teen mother (actively parenting, not currently pregnant).
Pregnancy Restriction: Applicants cannot be pregnant during the application period or during the program.

Academic Engagement: Must be currently enrolled in school program

Community Involvement: Should have some previous involvement in extracurricular activities or community service.

Willingness to Participate:
Must fully participate in all program activities, including mentorship, workshops, fundraisers and travel experiences. Must attend pre-travel workshops, mentorship sessions, and post-program follow-ups.

Commitment to Growth: Must demonstrate a willingness to learn, engage in new experiences, and participate fully in all program activities.

Financial Need & Limited Travel Exposure:
Applicants must demonstrate both financial need and limited international travel experience.
Personal Statement: Must submit a written or video personal statement explaining why they want to be part of the program, how it will impact their life, and their future aspirations.

Application Requirements:
Letter of Recommendation: Must provide at least one letter from a teacher, mentor,
counselor, or community leader.

Legal & Safety Considerations:
If under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to participate and travel internationally.
Must be in stable health for travel.
